Support Engagement During the School Year and Create a Trauma Sensitive Learning School Environment

Schools and healthcare providers have relied on me for the past 20 years to provide educational trainings for healthcare providers and educators, to provide case consultation for students who are struggling in the educational environment, and to support and partner with families to promote active home & school engagement.

Through my years of experience and collaboration, I have joined with fellow colleagues to help increase engagement with our students and families. We will provide comprehensive consultation, coaching and professional development services to increase the knowledge of your staff, support your parents, and engage your students.

The CDC calls for ‘more collaboration between education leaders and health sectors to improve cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of each child’. I, along with my team look forward to support you in this process.

Kind Words From Educators

Jackie has been an amazing resource for our staff and families. Jackie has provided parent education, staff consultation, and offered resources and networking opportunities. She understands school systems and works in collaboration between clinical and school settings. Her presentations demonstrate expertise in content and delivery. Parents have remarked that they “walk out of a presentation armed with knowledge to put into practice.” The feedback is always sterling
— Dr. Jennifer Pearson, Director of Special Education, D225, Glenview, Illinois
Jacqueline is my go-to for her amazing SEL presentations! She is a wealth of knowledge for staff, students, and parents. Jacqueline’s ability to tailor presentations to meet the specific needs of your student population and community is outstanding. You will find her to be engaging, poised, and reassuring in understanding the social-emotional needs of all types of students.
— Ebony J. Baker, Assistant Principal for Student Development, District 108, Roselle, Illinois
Jackie has cultivated several resources to support students, staff, and the surrounding District 155 parent community. Team members have presented with Jackie on several occasions with regard to mental health. ‘Tangible tools’ is a buzz phrase we often hear following one of Jackie’s presentations. Her stylistic approach meets the needs of each audience and provides a sense of calm while addressing critical topics of growth and development. Jackie Rhew’s name has become a strong pillar for who’s who in the professional mental health network.
